2020 Women on Boards welcomes strong business advocates and influencers to demonstrate their commitment to accelerate the progress of women in the corporate boardroom through a corporate partnership with the campaign. Your sponsorship engagement substantially increases our nonprofit campaign’s ability to advocate for gender balance in the boardroom, complete our tracking and analysis of the Russell 3000 Index to produce our annual Gender Diversity Index report, and provide educational programming and events for executive-level women who are pursuing a corporate board position.
We shine the spotlight on corporations that have women directors on their boards. We welcome corporations to become national or regional sponsors and partner with us to celebrate their dedication to diversity and inclusion as a basic value and just good business. The year 2020 is the ideal year to partner with our campaign for the visibility we will generate. It’s our Tenth Anniversary, it’s the year after we exceeded our namesake milestone of 20% board seats held by women, and of course, it’s the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment granting women in the U.S. the right to vote.
National corporate sponsors will enjoy the spotlight throughout the year among our targeted executive-level demographics, including attendees at all our events, Board Members, Leadership Committee members, our VIP speakers, other sponsors, and our network of Alliance Partners. To learn more about our corporate sponsorship program and benefits, please reach out to CEO Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire at betsy@2020WOB.com.

Research According to many studies and research, including Credit Suisse Research Institute, McKinsey, and Deloitte, there is a strong value proposition for including more women in the boardroom:
Credit Suisse Research Institute: Shares of companies with a market capitalization of more than $10 billion and with women board members outperformed comparable businesses with all-male boards by 26 percent worldwide over a period of six years.
Deloitte’s 2017 “Women in the Boardroom”: The business case for boardroom diversity is one that has been made many times—and for which Deloitte continues to advocate…The trickle-down effect of women in the boardroom such as breaking down stereotypes, encouraging girls and young women to pursue careers in business, science, technology, engineering, and math, and breaking down the wage gap between men and women are all important steps along the way to greater economic opportunity for women and to more inclusive workforces and societies.
MSCI: Companies with three or more women on the board saw a median productivity 1.2 percentage points above those in their respective industries.
